Scott is a Musician, Songwriter, DJ, and producer based in Vancouver, Canada. His original music has been described as a blend of Pop Rock, Singer-Songwriter, and Folk-Rock but his influences go much deeper than that. He grew up listening to the music of Lennon, McCartney and Led Zeppelin, but his ever-changing tastes have now gone much further than that.
My career in music began when at the age of 11 when my grandfather gave me his guitar, a 1941 National "New Yorker" archtop jazz guitar. The guitar was played endlessly by my grandfather, an accomplished jazz musician. An unlucky accident however would take away his use of two fingers on his left hand, and his music career came to a premature end. Decades later, upon seeing my curiosity and love for music, he knew the guitar wouldn’t go unplayed any longer. The second I plugged in that guitar and strummed my first chord, I was hooked
Music has taken Scott across the world, from playing festival gigs in Australia, singing in cruise ship lounges in Bora Bora, to even busking on the streets of his hometown of Vancouver. He initially decided to study music at the university level, spending 2 years at VIU and graduating with a diploma in Jazz Performance. Since then he has performed for 4 major cruise lines, had his songs played on the radio, and now can be found performing hundreds of gigs a year on BC's west coast.
I'm putting out a third studio album entitled "Meteorites" this winter. Then I'll be diving into a full summer of gigging and festivals on the west coast of Canada. Follow along on the socials below to find out where I'm playing next.
